Bush Still Sucks
Posted by Paul at June 29th, 2006
Well, June is coming to a close and all I’ve managed to post this month is a photo of the Brangelina baby from the cover of a Chinese magazine the day before the People photo spread came out (see below). Yep, Scoop Jackson, that’s me. Some news events have stirred my interest, but unless I have an angle on the story I don’t want to just spout off about…well, OK, how Karl Rove’s tactic of painting the Democrats as “cut-and-run” Democrats just doesn’t resonate with the American people, for example. If Rove’s not outing Valerie Plame or insisting that adult stem cells are better for research than embryonic stem cells (a blatant lie), he’s finding other negative ways to discredit people. Most people already want to run from the mess in Iraq, and the first Democrat to come up with the best way to accomplish that will become the next president. Cutting and running is starting to sound mighty refreshing, indeed. Especially when Bush and Co. are saying “stay the course” and let the next administration figure it out. Nevermind the 2000 more dead soldiers. We’ve got contracts with Big Oil to honor.
Alright, so this turned into a rant after all. I guess somewhere beneath the morass of mounting financial debt and other distractions, I still hold a deep hatred for the Bush administration. But moreso for the people who want to cling to the idea that we’re somehow doing some good in Iraq. I hate those people. And if you’re one of those people I hate you, because you’re an idiot.

OK, I feel better now…
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ‘CHELLEY!
